About Us

Sharpe Innovation was established in 2010 as a way of offering HR consultancy services to businesses based in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Today it allows me to work with businesses in New Zealand, Australia and the USA to help develop hr tools, initiatives and strategies for the benefit of their people and their performance. To some the consultancy provides compliance in the form of templates and tools for transactional HR and H&S. To others it is a partnership that offers an ongoing valued relationship.

We have always been passionate about helping businesses grow engagement with their employees. Given our success and learnings in the past few years we have been able to develop an Engagement Engine strategy. This offers partners tools for compliance, engagment, empowerment and ultimately leadership throughout the business over a three year period.

The consultancy is part time and based around my commitments in my current role of GM People & Performance at Magic Memories. It is a global role that sees me leading a team to support 100 attraction sites across 8 countries, capturing over 30 million smiles per year.

Previous to this role I was at NZSKi Ltd where our organisational development initiatives won recognition in the areas of attraction and retention as well as learning and development. The NZSKi-U framework won several awards in New Zealand including The EEO Trust Work & Life Award and the HRINZ Initiative of the Year Award.

I am extremely passionate about people development and will always make time for leaders striving towards business excellence and people progression.
